Canola oil is vegetable oil- both of which have been connected to the current chronic illness epidemic in the US, especially because they are used in almost all of today’s food products and restaurant dishes (because they are cheap, have a long shelf life, and neutral taste). Canola oil is NOT a necessary part of a healthy diet- unlike other healthy fats.
The article even specifies how extra virgin olive oil is highly UNprocessed- so how could it possibly be in the same category as a HIGHLY processed oil like Canola?
My heart aches for anyone who follows the advice in this article. Totally irresponsible.
